PRESENTATION

We will be presenting approximately 15 quilts donated by our Customers to local Veterans through the help of the Quilts of Valor organization. The presentation of these quilts is planned for Sunday, April 21, 2024. The event will be at the Rockford Holiday Inn on State Street, at 1:30 pm.

“END OF THE BOLT SALE”

FOR APRIL ON April 30^th

Another new promotion offered to our Quilters this year is a “end of the bolt sale.” On the last open business day of each month, a 30% discount applies to all bolts that have 4 yards or less remaining. Purchase must be at least 4 yards or less, that is FINISH THAT BOLT, and receive the 30% discount!

Spring 2024 One Day Bus Shop Hop!

 SATURDAY APRIL 6

 In addition to your “Home” Shop, this great 1-Day trip will give you the opportunity to visit 4 fabulous Quilt Shops, all with a different flair.

 Participating Shops are:

 Patched Works, Elm Grove, WI

Sandy Creek Quilts, Lodi, WI

 Loose Threads, Milton, WI

 Yellow Creek Quilts, Pearl City, IL

 Quilter’s General Store, Rockford, IL

The bus will be leaving from QGS at 7 am and return around 6:30 pm.
 The bus trip includes transportation, meals, & snacks, all for only $80!
 

Ride in comfort on a chartered bus & leave the driving to us!

Quilter’s General Store was founded in 1997 and is located in a stately 1875 farm house. The 2500 square foot farm house is decorated in a traditional country style, utilizing many primitive and rustic items that add to the charm of the shop. QGS features approximately 2000 bolts of fabric which include a selection of civil war reproduction fabrics, batiks, and hand dyed wools.
On the second floor you will find our children’s room with baby
and juvenile fabrics, and many brights to blend with the children's fabrics.
We have a large classroom in our lower level for our full slate of classes and clubs. Many quilt and wool samples are displayed and kitted to inspire you. The entire staff at QGS is available to assist you in fabric selection or on your particular project.

Quilter’s General Store is truly a quilter’s destination for supplies, fabric, and inspiration.
We can’t wait to see all of you down on the farm!
